With this goal in mind, the Sathya Sai Seva Organization transcends all barriers. Prashanthi Nilayam, the headquarters of Sathya Sai Seva Organization, is located near Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh (India). Prashanthi Nilayam means 'the Abode of Supreme Peace.
Sri Sathya Sai Baba is fondly known among His devotees as 'Baba', an equivalent of 'father' or 'religious preceptor'. Sri Sathya Sai Baba's teachings reflect a philosophy of universal love and service. They aim at unfolding the Divinity inherent in every human being through divine love. One of the most common messages of Sri Sathya Sai Baba to humankind is that :
There is only One religion, the religion of Love
There is only One caste, the caste of humanity
There is only One language, the language of the Heart
There is only One God, He is omnipresent.
The Sathya Sai Seva Organization believes that each individual should follow, namely :

With the inspiration and guidance of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the organization undertakes service activities like blood donation, medical check-up camps, and adopting under-developed villages, old age homes etc. Sri Sathya Sai Baba also heads a number of charitable organizations and educational institutions. The Sathya Sai Seva Organization publishes the magazine Sanathana Sarathi through its official publishing body, the Sri Sathya Sai Books and Publications Trust.
Sri Sathya Sai Baba encourages His devotees to serve the poor, needy, and sick, selflessly. He also maintains that there is only one God, though HE may be known by different names. The simple philosophy of Sri Sathya Sai Baba has won him many devotees the world over.
