The Ayurvedic system of treatment prescribes the wearing of Rudraksha
beads to relieve stress, anxiety, depression, lack of concentration and
palpitations. Rudraksha beads are also supposed to have a positive
effect on the heart and nerves. They are also known for their
anti-ageing effects, and electromagnetic and inductive properties. Rudraksha beads are used for the treatment of cancer and other diseases. The beads are either worn externally or boiled in milk and then the milk is used as a curative. Different Mukhi Rudraksha dust is also taken with water to alleviate the pain.
Different Mukhis of Rudraksha are also used for treatment of different diseases like :
