Lord Hanuman is one of the incarnations of Lord Shiva. He is depicted
as a monkey and is known for his bravery, heroic deeds and eternal
devotee of Lord Rama. The idol of Lord Hanuman represents him holding a
Gada (mace), which reflects courage and bravery along with a picture of
Lord Rama tattooed on his chest, which symbolizes his eternal devotion. Lord Hanuman has many names like "Mahaveera" (the great hero ), "Pavan-suta" (Son of Air), "Bajarangbali" (one with unlimited power). The worshiper of Lord Hanuman is always blessed with pure and unselfish devotion.
Hanuman Idol is the provider of hope, knowledge, fearlessness, intellect and is a symbol of endless devotion. He is the greatest devotee of Lord Rama and has been given a boon to be worshipped through all the "Yugas" (Eras) of Hindu time scale.
